2020 BoardSource Leadership Forum

As we shared, BoardSource is cancelling the BoardSource Leadership Forum, in response to the Mayor of St. Louis’ ban on events for the next 8 weeks.

We will be working to plan a future BLF, but do not yet have any details on what that will look like and when it will take place. As such, we are moving forward with refund practices for all who have paid registrations. As you might expect, the lost revenue from the conference will take a significant toll on us as an organization, as some of you may be experiencing with your own convenings and events. We know that means that many – if not most – will need to request full refunds. But we also know that there are others who may be in a situation where they may be able to consider alternatives, including:

  • Converting your registration – or a portion of it – to a donation to BoardSource. Your support would go a long way to helping us absorb the financial impact of not having the conference this year and keeping all of our other programs and services strong, and we would be extremely grateful.

  • Receiving your refund in the form of a credit. We would be happy to provide you with a credit that could be used to purchase other BoardSource resources, whether that’s access to our Board Support Program, our assessment and evaluation tools, or a selection of books. You can also hold onto your credit for longer and use it toward registration at our next BLF, which we hope to announce soon.
